Durian
Mangosteen
The white meat wrapped inside a purple hard shell. We named it consort or queen of fruits. Just break the green top , creamy and juicy meat is waiting for you to savour. It usually tastes sweet , luscious and sometime it will be a bit sour. So far I haven't met bitter one. It brings lots of benefit to health , don't be fastidious of fruits.

Snakeskin fruit / Salak
It will be little bit hard to swallow since it tastes unsmooth and rough. It covered with stinging hard fur that feel sharp thorny. Break the hard shell with hand , or use your nails to penetrate the hard shell lol. Seem a little bit hurt * hide * but still can bear the hurt. Fruit is chewy and sweet. Just like you're sitting in living room , cracking and eating the melon seeds.

Rambutan
Hairy outward appearance makes me feel cringe , but when you look closer of the fruits , touching like a fluffy cat lol what a weird describe. There are two types of rambutan which are bright red and yellow-orange. It is very easy to peel the outer skin because the skin itself is not as hard as snakeskin. Rambutan meat always impeccable luscious and juicy. Sometime we peel off the outer and seeds , make our own rambutan flavour jelly and pudding.
Langsat
Golden outer appearance , it's like a bunch of grapes , same size as normal grapes. Just peel off paper-thin outer skin , you will see translucent and segments of fresh meat. To remind that , the seed is bitter so please avoid if you don't like the sudden bite and spoil the whole tastes lol. Be sure that not to eat too much since it is cold nature. I myself like to eat especially fresh from trees , if you put a bit longer of time , the outer is easy to turn brown , hurry up and eat it or else you might waste the food because it is too ripe.

Jack fruit
The mucilage of the fruit is sticky and vicious. You have to be careful when you peel off the shell , the mucilage is on the skin there and it will make your hand viscid. Usually we will lay a piece of recycle paper on the floor and cut it on the top. Be careful not to stain because it is very difficult to wash off. The meat is golden orange colour , rich in tastes and strong smell. We usually like to eat raw one despite that it can be cooked and eat as a leisure tea time snack.
Guava
I love this food so much since it is the lowest calories throughout the entire recommendation food. It has a bright light green skin which attracted me to see more green with my eyes. The meat itself is pink colour and it is rich of vitamin C , lycopene and antioxidants that are beneficial for skin. We always like to wait the guava until ripe , it tastes soft and sweet juicy too. Literally our locals like to eat with plum powder. Personally love original tastes !
Starfruit
Starfruit is a very low calorie local fruit. Look at horizontal view of fruits , it looks like a star right ! Twinkle twinkle twinkle star lol , definitely not the star on the sky. Typically mellow yellow which is native favourite. Sometime just slice horizontally , each bite helps to lose weight and maintain your blood pressure !
Pomelo
A must eat in Summerrr !!! The meat oozes juice and each bite melt on your mouth ! It has an enormous amount of high fiber which helps the people who have constipation. It also helps to eliminate edema , quench thirst by eating this fruit. It is antipyretic to your body. Be cherish to the fruits !

Rose Apple
A huge cute of one fist size , pinkish outside and white meat inside. Essential fruits in Summer ! It helps to quench thirst and riches in vitamin C, dietary fiber, calcium, thaimin, niacin and potassium. A must eat , crispy and lip-smacking sweet tastes will burst into your mouth.
Red Durian
So far I haven't seen this red durian appear in West Malaysia , mostly is native favourite in East Malaysia. It also has a thorny yellow-orange hard shell but it's easier to peel off than durian. Just stand on the durian , it will burst open. It riches in Vitamin and minerals , it boost our manganese, copper, iron, and magnesium in mineral.
Soursop
It has soft torn skin as the outer is wrapping the meat. YESSS , the meat tastes sweet despite that there are a lot of annoying black seed inside. Usually I dig up all the seed inside , each time you bite for one , sweet juice will explode in your mouth. It helps to reduce eyes disease and impressive of beneficial Antioxidants that helps to fight disease-causing cells and tumors.

Papaya
It has natural enzymes and it helps to assist on digest. Naturally help to enlarge girls breast but I haven't seen any function despite that I have eaten many many papaya even blended into juice and add in milk to form papaya milk. When you've eaten too much oily and undigested food , it helps defecation and it will not retain stool in your stomach.
Pineapple
We eat it raw , some of the people might spread with salt to avoid stink tastes , tossed with beverages and fruit salad , blended as smoothie and ornament with meals. It is oval shape , green-yellow shell while unripe , yellow-orange shell while ripe. Cut off the small black grain because it will irritate your tongue. The tastes depend on weather , good weather it tastes sweet while rainy weather tastes sour. Extreme Sour. And also it is rich in vitamin C, iron and vitamin A.
Artocarpus odoratissimus
It is the same species as jack fruit. It has a fluffy outer skin, just tear off into two halves. The meat is white and smooth and we eat raw too. Personality I like the to eat nature sweet and this is recommended ! I love the fruit so much !
Dragon Fruit / Pitaya
Dragon fruit, also known as pitahaya or strawberry pear which is red meat inside with bright red skin. It is quite famous tropical fruit in Malaysia. But seldom see white meat dragonfruit at here. It is high nutrients , load with fiber that help to boost digest system. Use a knife and cut it into half. Then scoop out the fruit with a spoon. Or you can make it into smoothie too.
I still left one fruit to write because i forget the name of the fruits and photo lol.
By the way , please enjoy the fruit in Malaysia. I love it so much especially eat before the meal , it helps to increase satiety.
